Hello, my name is Mrs Ferguson, I am the class teaching assistant. I work to encourage and support your children. When I’m not in the classroom I enjoy playing badminton, cooking and spending time with my family. My favourite thing to cook is spinach and ricotta cannelloni.

Here is some general information for you to be aware of:

Reading Books

Your child has been given a reading book which matches the phonics phase which they are studying at school, it would be fantastic if you could  listen to them read their book as often as possible. Please make sure you send your child's reading book into school every day. 

PE 

We will be doing PE Wednesday and Friday. Please make sure that your child has a PE kit in school. They can bring their PE kit into school and leave it for the half term. Their PE kit need to be a white t shirt and navy shorts or joggers, they will also need a pair of trainers or pumps. Please make sure if your child has their ears pieces that earrings are removed for PE.

Library Books

Your child will bring home a school library book. If your child wishes to change this book they will be able to do so every week on Tuesday mornings. Please remember to send them in every Tuesday to be changed.

Forest School Wednesdays

Mrs Ali will be leading Forest School activities on  Wednesdays every half term, these will give the children a wealth of opportunities to explore and learn more about nature and will replace our previous Wellie on Wednesday sessions.

Please send your child into school with a pair of wellies on these dates or alternatively they can bring a pair of wellies in and leave them at school.
