Children across Key Stage 1 (Year 1 and Year 2) receive homework every Friday. They are asked to return this to school by Wednesday to allow the class teacher time to mark it and stick in the new homework.

 

Children in Reception will often begin to receive homework at the beginning of their second term in school.

 

As a school we ask children to read at home as often as possible. We have found that this is the most effective activity for parents to do with their children and it helps to develop a pleasure of reading which is crucial for your child's learning.
