Coronation Celebration!

We started our Worship Week with a whole school Collective Worship. First we discussed what worship is. Then we looked at some different religions and talked about where each religion go to worship. Next, Miss Pancisi lit a candle for each of the religions.

We had a very special visit to Derby Cathedral. We had a tour of the cathedral and looked at all the different ways that people can worship there.

We went for a walk to Arboretum Park. We looked around and thought about all of the things that we are grateful for on the way. When we got to the park we had a Collective Worship. We sang our Harvest songs and thought about how singing is a type of worship. Then we worked together as a school to make a ‘picture’ of things that we are grateful for at Harvest time.
